1. Introduction

Welcome to SheSea. These terms and conditions govern the access to and use of our platform, including the mobile application and website. When you register and use SheSea, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services.

2. Responsible Entity

3. Use of the Application

Shesea es una plataforma diseñada para conectar a mujeres en la industria marítima. La aplicación se divide en varias secciones según el perfil y las necesidades de cada usuaria:

3.1. Perfil Recreativo: Armadora

Esta sección está dirigida a usuarias que poseen su propio barco y desean compartir experiencias de navegación recreativa.

  • Permite publicar salidas en barco para encontrar tripulación femenina afín.
  • Las armadoras pueden planificar actividades como travesías costeras, salidas de fin de semana, regatas recreativas o rutas de mayor duración (cruising).
  • Facilita la conexión con otras mujeres con experiencia o interés en navegar como acompañantes.

3.2. Perfil Recreativo: Tripulación

Esta sección está dirigida a usuarias que desean embarcarse como tripulantes en salidas de ocio organizadas por otras mujeres.

  • Permite buscar y solicitar unirse a salidas publicadas por armadoras, según tipo de travesía y nivel de experiencia.
  • Las tripulantes pueden elegir entre salidas cortas de día o fin de semana, regatas recreativas o viajes más largos (cruising).
  • Fomenta la conexión entre mujeres que comparten el interés por aprender, colaborar y disfrutar del mar en un entorno seguro y comunitario.

4. Creation and Management of Accounts

  • Can only register those 18 years or older.
  • Each user is responsible for the security of your account.
  • It is not permitted to share accounts or impersonate identities.
  • We can suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or be reported for suspicious activity.

📌 Users can delete their account at any time.
If a user want to recover your account after you delete it, you must contact support within the 30 days of the cancellation.

5. Content Generated by Users

  • Users are responsible for the content published on the platform.
  • SheSea will be able to moderate and remove content that violates our standards.

6. Liability and Limitation of Warranties

  • SheSea not responsible for the interactions between users outside of the platform.
  • We do not guarantee the continuous availability of the service or the absence of technical errors.
  • We are not responsible for loss of data, system failures or unauthorized access.
  • It is prohibited to publish content that is offensive, illegal, fraudulent, or discriminatory.
  • Do not allow the use of SheSea for commercial activities is not allowed.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Payments and Additional Services (Currently, there are no payments within the app.)

  • Some capabilities may require payment in the future.
  • Payments are non-refundable, except in the specific cases outlined in the refund policy.
  • Users are responsible for verifying the costs before making a purchase.

8. Modification of Terms

  • SheSea reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.
  • In the event of changes, we will notify the users via the app or via email with reasonable notice.

📌 The continued use of SheSea after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.

10. Applicable law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are subject to Spanish law. In the case of consumers, individual parts, according to the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16,, which approves the revised text of the General law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, submit to the courts of the place of residence of the user.

In addition, under the Regulation (EU) no 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 may 2013 on online dispute resolution in consumer, SheSea reports to the users that, in case of a dispute, you can access the "Platform for Online Dispute Resolution" developed by the European Commission to try to resolve out-of-court any dispute related to the services SheSea.
