When we mention Shesea, we mean the entity responsible for your personal information under this Privacy Policy. Once the company is legally incorporated, the identification and contact information in this document will be updated.

4. Information that we Collect and Use

Shesea is intended exclusively for users over 18 years of age. We do not accept registrations from minors. If we detect an account belonging to a minor without parental consent, we will delete it immediately.

Depending on the type of user on Shesea, we collect different data to tailor the experience within the platform:

4.1.Yacth owner (user with boat)

If you register as an owner, we collect the following information to advertise recreational trips and find female crew members to sail with:

Account information: Name, surname, email address, phone number and date of birth.

Profile information: Profile photo, location (if the user allows it), personal description and type of boat.

Navigation data:

Type of trips offered (coastal, regattas, long journeys).
Dates and location of departures.
Crew needs.

Use of data:

Facilitate the publication of boat trips and the search for crew.
Show compatible profiles based on browsing type and shared interests.

4.2. Crew (user without boat)

If you register as a crew member, in order to find opportunities to embark on recreational trips organized by other users, we collect the following data

Account information: Name, surname, email address, phone number and date of birth.

Profile information: Profile photo, location (optional), nautical experience level (if you wish to share), interests, and availability.

Location and dates.
Expectations or skills you want to bring to the experience.

Communications: Messages sent to shipowners and requests to join outings.

Use of data:

Connecting users interested in surfing together.
Display departure options based on interests and availability.
Protect the community and moderate the use of the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

The Shesea brand, software, application, design, source code, database, and all graphic and textual elements of the platform are the exclusive property of Shesea SL or its licensors.

Users retain the rights to the content they share on Shesea, but grant the platform a limited license to use that content for operational purposes, such as displaying or promoting posts.

All photos uploaded by users will remain within the Shesea system and will not be used for commercial purposes without explicit consent.

Photos uploaded by users will be retained in Shesea's system as long as the account is active. If a user deletes their account, their photos will be deleted from our servers within a maximum of 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or security reasons. During this period, the data will be locked and inaccessible except for compliance with legal regulations.

Reproduction, distribution or modification of Shesea's software, design or content is prohibited without express authorization.

6. Data sharing

We may share information with:

Service providers (storage, payments, technical support).
Legal authorities when required.
Partner companies, with the prior consent of the user.

Nor sell personal data to third parties.

7. Rights of Users

Users can:

Access, correct or delete their data.
